In the exhibition Flowers in the Mirror, photographer and curator Ruben Lundgren (Netherlands, 1983) reflects on twenty years of working and living in China.

China

At the age of 21, he travelled to China as a photography student, where his immersion in the language and culture coincided with his search for an open queer identity. Photography offers him the opportunity to explore the tension between image and reality.
